Students Report To: Department of Pediatrics (434-7020), 14 Medical Park, Suite 400, 8:00 a.m.  See Patty Leopard.

The student will function as a member of the Pediatric Inpatient health care team, carrying a maximum load of four (4) patients. Pediatric night call is variable but no more than every seventh (7th) night. Students work with the interns, residents and USCSM faculty. Education material is presented via attending rounds, didactic lectures, sub specialty lectures, weekly grand rounds, resident case presentations, rounds with residents, clinical pathologic conferences, etc. These assignments offer an opportunity for students to learn and experience practical clinical medicine on a general ward service. Evaluations will be based on subjective faculty critiques and an oral examination.
