This elective offers the student exposure to the full spectrum of Family Medicine, focusing on Ambulatory Medicine, but giving the opportunity to refine skills in Inpatient Adult, Pediatrics, and Obstetrical Medicine.

Instructional Methodolgy (approximate # of hours per week):  Lectures 7-9; Rounds/Discussions 5-10; Patient Contact 30; Call is Optional.

Objectives:

1. Develope an understanding of Family Medicine and its role in the communityl.
2. Review common problems in Family Medicine.
3. Prepare for transition to residency responsibilities.
4. Expand knowledge base in Ambulatory area of interest to student.
